Secure FTP Wrapper around of a standard FTP Server

The difference between Secure FTP Wrapper and
Secure FTP Proxy Server is that the first emulates another FTP Server and can
work with only one pre-defined remote FTP Server. Usually it
uses to add an ability to accept secure FTP connections to the standard
FTP Server.
Configure the Software
Standard configuration of Secure FTP Wrapper is shown below:
The most important parameters to configure are:
- Work Mode - You should select Secure FTP Wrapper option.
- Ports to accept income connections - There are 3 types of connections.
If you want to accept any of them, enter a port number to appropriate text field.
Otherwise, enter 0 there.
- Remote server properties - There you have to set an address and port of
the remote FTP Server that is wrapped.
- Upload calendar - Software caches all uploaded files and sends them to
remote FTP Server when Upload calendar allows that. Also there you can
limit a number of concurent upload connections.
Configure FTP client
Let's set an address of Secure FTP Wrapper is secure.ftpserver.com.
Then logon properties of FTP client are:
- Address - secure.ftpserver.com.
- Port - 5349 or 5350 or 5351.
