Enter port numbers for connections - Software can start up to 3
server connections. Each of them has its own
encryption type and port. If you want to accept connections,
you have to enter a port number.
Otherwise enter 0.
Select root folder - You must select that folder because
Software uses it to store cached or queued files. When Software works
as Secure FTP Server, it uses that folder to store user's files.
Set "cache" checkboxes - check Cache uploaded files box if
you want to cache uploaded files (and have a quick downloads later) and check
Cache downloaded files box If you want to cache downloaded files.
Remote FTP Server to wrap - If you use the Software as Secure FTP Wrapper,
you have to specify properties of a remote FTP Server to wrap (e.g. address and port, ...).
Upload calendar - When user uploads a file, the Software does not send it to
remote FTP Server. It caches it locally and sends when Upload calendar
allows to do that. Every second Software checks the Upload calendar
to calculate how many upload connections it may use. If there is an unused
upload connection, it starts a separate thread that sends the next queued file.
Activate Settings page.
Set misc. flags.
Select certificate files - To establish a SSL connection it's necessary
to select a SSL certificate. It has 2 parts (certificate and private key) and
can be in 1 or 2 files. If you haven't a certificate, you can generate it.
Registration - Advanced FTP Proxy Server isn't a freeware. It must be registered.
Without registration it will expire after 10 connection!
Save configuration and restart the server - Press Restart with the new configuration button to save
new configuration and restart the server.
