Continues Data Protection

Traditional backup solutions perform scheduled backups to backup new or changed files. Usually that's the resource-consuming task and cannot be done very often. Most backup solutions perform only 1 scheduled backup per day. That's suitable for some environments but sometimes you need to have every version of changed documents.
Continues Data Protection (CDP) is a new backup technology that solves that problem. CDP tool monitors your file system and backup changed files (documents) immediately after they were modified, so you will have every version of modified files and can undo any change you did even few minutes ago.
The first step to use CDP is to create a Backup Set that will be used by CDP tool. CDP tool will monitor all files, selected to backup, at the Backup Set. Note that this Backup Set can be used for traditional backups as well.
Run CDP tool from the Tools menu and configure it. You have to select the Backup Set backup priority and how often the tool will perform backup of changed files (usually 30 seconds).
CDP tool is fully integrated at EaseBackup, so it will do backups and log errors and warnings as EaseBackup does that with other Backup Sets.
