Repair wizard Save and Restore most important 123Backup files.

     Repair wizard saves and restores your Encryption keys, Backup Sets and other configuration information. You MUST be very careful with your encryption keys. If you will lose them you will NEVER restore your files. That's why you MUST have a few copies of them in a few safe places (outside of your computer). That is VERY IMPORTANT because you will be able to restore your files only if you have encryption keys!

     Additionally, when you save repair information on disk, the wizard offers you to save 123Backup install package and registration keys. We recommend you to have 123Backup install package on Repair disk, because you may won't have access to Internet at crash moment. If you will have 123Backup install package on your Repair disks you will be able to install 123Backup and restore your files anyway (of course, if you have backup archives too).

     To save your repair information you have to select Save mode and choose appropriate storage: disk or FTP Server. If you save repair information on disk, make a few disks and put them in various secure places. Save your repair information on FTP Server only if you are sure in secure of that FTP Server. As a result of Save operation your disks or FTP Server will have repairNN.rep files. All files are identical and each of them contains all repair information.

     You can restore repair information from a disk file or FTP Server. When you restore from a disk file you can choose few files: repairNN.rep (they contains your encryption keys and configuration), dirs.dat[.pgp] (this file contains definition of your Backup Sets), *.zip, *.zip.zNNN (backup archives, which were created by 123Backup, contain a definition of an associated Backup Set).

     When you restore from FTP Server, 123Backup automatically restores all found repair information of all kinds.
