Restore procedure
How to restore your files.

     Step by Step Instructions:

  1. Select "Restore" option and press the Next button.

  2. Select a Backup Set from the list.

         If you don't see your Backup Set, click Disaster Recovery Wizard button. The Repair wizard will appear. Use it to restore your Backup Sets and encryption keys from removable disks or FTP Server. more...

  3. Download catalog files

    4.      To restore files, you have to have catalog files (small files with lists of backed up files). This page allows to download them from backup storage. Select type of your storage and press the Next button

  4. Restore options.

         Set miscellaneous restore options.

  5. Select files to restore

         If you have selected "I want restore only selected files" option, 123Backup will show you a tree of backed up files and registry entries. Check files and folders you want to restore. To find any specific file or folder you can use "Search commands": press F3 to find a file or folder by its name or date. Press F4 to repeat the last search.

  6. Decode encrypted files

         Some of Backup archives can be encrypted. That's why you have to select encryption key and enter password to decode them. If you have used few encryption keys during backup, 123Backup will ask all others during restore.

  7. Restore backed up files

         This page allows you to select path to restore. If you want to restore files to original location you have to select the root tree item. Press "Next" button to start restore process.
